2011 Summer Fun List

I think we're getting this summer kicked off to a pretty great start, and it's fun to be a kid again - or at least to have fun with the kids. And with each year that Josie gets older, the list of fun summer things to do grows exponentially. One of the very first things I wanted to do was to hit The Port (drive in) for root beer floats on a hot afternoon. Ed and I would stop here all the time during the summer while out for a drive to the beach, and we had been looking forward to the day Josie would enjoy it too. This past weekend fit the bill. It was a little to hot to sit in the car and enjoy the treat, but Josie still got a kick out of the drive in and we'll be back again several times this summer, I'm sure!
